Precise Model Fit

This case is built specifically for HP OmniBook X Flip 16-as and 16-ar models together with HP OmniBook 7 Flip 16-au units. The two-part shell uses hidden magnetic adsorption to join the halves, so installation is quick and the cover stays in place during daily use. Buyers with any other laptop model will find it incompatible.

Protection Without Removal

The PU leather exterior has a linen-like texture that resists slipping and wear while the microfiber lining guards against scratches and minor impacts. Because the magnets are not a structural latch, the case is not suited for carrying the device by the cover alone. The design adds enough thickness that 360-degree hinge rotation is no longer supported.

Cooling Vents and Stylus Loop

Ventilation holes on the rear panel allow heat to escape during sustained workloads, helping the laptop maintain performance without trapping warmth. An elastic band on the side holds a stylus securely when not in use. The shell draws no power and adds no audible noise to the system.

Questions about this item

Does the case block the cooling holes on the back of the HP OmniBook X Flip 16-as when the laptop runs all day?

The back of the case has cooling holes that align with the laptop vents to let heat escape during extended use.

What must I already own for this case to fit and work properly?

You need an HP OmniBook X Flip 16-as0000TU or 16-ar0047nr, or an HP OmniBook 7 Flip 16-au model, because the case is cut only for those chassis.

Will the magnetic two-part design still let me fold my OmniBook 7 Flip 16-au into tablet mode?

The added thickness prevents direct 360-degree rotation, so the laptop cannot fold fully flat while the case is attached.
