Compatibility Limited to Specific MacBook Air Models

This hard case fits only MacBook Air 13 inch models with Retina Display and Touch ID released between 2018 and 2022. Supported model numbers include A2337, A2179, and A1932. Buyers must verify the "Axxxx" number on the bottom of their laptop before ordering. It will not fit any other MacBook model or size.

Thermal Management Through Bottom Ventilation

The PVC shell features an upgraded pattern of heat dissipation holes on the bottom surface. These openings are designed to align with the laptop's own vents to help exhaust warm air during normal use. The rigid cover remains in place while the device runs, so airflow is not blocked by the case itself.

Keyboard Cover Included for Surface Protection

A transparent keyboard skin is bundled with the hard shell. It lays over the keys to guard against dust, spills, and keycap wear without removing the case. The cover is thin enough to allow the lid to close fully. No additional tools, adhesives, or software are supplied.

Questions about this item

How do I install the hard case on my MacBook Air 13 inch A2337 without scratching the chassis?

Align the top shell with the hinge area first, then snap the bottom shell onto the upgraded heat-dissipation holes; the clip-on design requires no tools and avoids pressure on the Retina display bezel.

When should I replace the included transparent keyboard cover on this Purple case?

Replace the keyboard skin when it shows permanent creases, loss of transparency, or reduced tactile feedback — typically after 12 to 18 months of daily typing.

What thermal limit appears first during sustained loads with the bottom heat-dissipation holes?

The PVC shell can trap heat if the upgraded bottom holes are blocked by a soft surface, causing the MacBook to throttle earlier than on a hard, flat desk.
