PS5 Pro Disc Edition faceplates

These replacement panels are made for the PlayStation 5 Pro Disc Edition console. They come in two pieces that swap directly with the original white covers. The light blue finish changes the look of the system without affecting its operation. Buyers who own the digital-only PS5 Pro or the original PS5 cannot use this set.

Passive thermal and noise profile

The plates are moulded from hard ABS plastic that adds no active cooling or moving parts. Because they replace the factory covers one-for-one, the console’s existing airflow paths and fan behaviour stay the same. No extra power draw or noise is introduced by the swap.

Installation hardware and guidance

A single printed manual is included in the box. It illustrates the clip-in method: press one side to engage the retention tabs, then press the opposite side to seat the panel fully. Removal follows the reverse sequence, so no tools are required and the original plates can be refitted later.

Questions about this item

How do the two-part ABS faceplates clip onto the PS5 Pro Disc Edition without damaging the original shell?

Align the precision-cut clips with the console edges, press one side in until it seats, then press the opposite side down; removal reverses the same two-step sequence.

What long-term wear should I expect on the light-blue ABS panels, and can they be refreshed?

The hard ABS resists scratches and dust; surface marks can be wiped with a microfibre cloth, and the plates are fully replaceable by repeating the clip-on process.

At what point does the replacement shell restrict airflow during extended gaming sessions?

The plates are modelled on the original PS5 Pro Disc Edition panels, so all factory vent cut-outs remain fully open and airflow is unchanged.
