Werleo Raphael 520C Stylus Pen for Surface Devices

The Werleo Raphael 520C is a rechargeable active stylus built for Microsoft Surface tablets and laptops. It delivers 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and tilt support using MPP 2.0 technology. The aluminium barrel measures 9.2 mm in diameter and weighs 14 grams. A magnetic strip lets the pen cling to the side of compatible Surface models for storage and transport.

Check Compatibility Before Ordering

Verify that your exact Surface model appears in the supported list: Pro 4 through Pro 9, Pro X, Go 1 through 3, Book 1 through 3, Studio 1, 2 and 2+, Laptop 1 through 5 and Laptop Studio. The pen will not work with Surface Laptop Go, Surface Laptop Go 2 or other touch-screen PCs not listed. Tilt sensitivity also depends on the individual application and brush settings you use.

Replaces Battery Pens and Adds Tilt

This stylus replaces disposable-battery Surface pens by adding USB-C charging; 20 minutes gives 50 hours of use and a full hour exceeds 100 hours. Smart power management shuts the pen down after 10 minutes of inactivity. The upgrade is worthwhile if you want tilt shading, palm rejection and original Surface tip compatibility without buying first-party accessories.

Questions about this item

Does the Werleo Raphael 520C come with a USB-C cable or do I need to buy one separately?

The pen charges via USB-C and includes a cable in the box so no separate purchase is required for charging.

Should I choose the Raphael 520C over another capacity if I need tilt support for shading?

The Raphael 520C is the only model listed and it provides tilt sensitivity plus 4096 pressure levels for pencil-like shading.

What does the 4096 pressure figure mean when I am drawing on a Surface Pro 9?

It means the stylus detects 4096 distinct pressure levels using MPP 2.0 so brush strokes vary smoothly from the lightest touch to full pressure.
