Samsung Galaxy Tab 12.4 inch case

This red protective case fits Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus 2023 models SM-X810, SM-X816B and SM-X818U. It also covers Galaxy Tab S8 Plus 2022, S7 FE 2021 and S7 Plus 2020 tablets with 12.4 inch screens. The three-layer construction combines hard polycarbonate and impact-resistant silicone for drop and scratch protection. A built-in kickstand rotates 360 degrees and a hand strap adds grip security.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Buyers with one of the listed Samsung tablets who want military-grade shock protection, a rotating stand and a detachable shoulder strap will find this case useful. It includes a stylus holder and supports wireless charging for the S Pen on the back. Owners of any other tablet model, including other Samsung sizes, cannot use this case because the cutouts are model-specific. People who need a screen protector or a bundled stylus must buy those separately.

Deciding specification — model compatibility

The only specification that determines fit is the exact tablet model number. This case works solely with SM-X810, SM-X816B, SM-X818U, SM-X800, SM-X806, SM-X808, SM-T730, SM-T733, SM-T735, SM-T736, SM-T738, SM-T970, SM-T975, SM-T976 and SM-T978. If your device model is not in that list, the case will not align with ports, cameras or the magnetic charging zone.

Questions about this item

Which Samsung Galaxy Tab models does this SM-X810/SM-X816B/SM-X818U case fit?

It fits the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus 12.4 inch 2023 (SM-X810/SM-X816B/SM-X818U), S8 Plus 12.4 inch 2022 (SM-X800/SM-X806/SM-X808), S7 FE 5G 12.4 inch 2021 (SM-T730/T733/T735/T736/T738) and S7+/S7 Plus 12.4 inch 2020 (SM-T970/T975/T976/T978).

Will the case work with a Galaxy Tab S6 or other older 12.4 inch tablets?

No, the manufacturer states it will NOT work for any other model device beyond the four listed series.

How can I verify the S Pen charges wirelessly while the case is on?

Attach the S Pen to the magnetic strip on the back of the tablet; the case supports wireless charging through its precise cutouts, so the pen should show a charging indicator.
