Designed for Fire HD 8

This hard shell case fits the Amazon Fire HD 8 and Fire HD 8 Plus tablets from the 10th generation 2020 release and the 12th generation 2022 release. It combines a durable PU leather exterior with a soft microfiber lining. A built-in magnetic strip triggers the auto wake and sleep function when the cover is opened or closed. The one-piece clip-on design includes a universal stylus for touchscreen use.

Verify your exact tablet generation before ordering

The product is compatible only with the Fire HD 8 and Fire HD 8 Plus models from the 10th generation 2020 release and the 12th generation 2022 release. It will not fit any other Kindle or Fire devices, including different screen sizes or earlier generations. Check the model year printed on the back of your tablet or in the device settings to confirm it matches the supported generations listed.

Upgrades from basic sleeves

This case replaces simple pouches or non-magnetic folios that lack a viewing stand and automatic sleep capability. The flip cover converts into a stable stand for watching video or typing with a Bluetooth keyboard. The jump is worth it if you want hands-free viewing angles and the convenience of instant wake without pressing the power button.
