Retro Mechanical Keyboard for Gaming and Typing

The Werleo USB LED backlit keyboard uses a full-size 104-key layout with blue mechanical switches. It is aimed at gamers and typists who want tactile feedback and an audible click. The round keycaps give a vintage typewriter appearance while the black ABS chassis keeps the unit rigid for daily use.

USB Wired Connection Limits Cable Reach

The keyboard connects through a gold-plated USB interface that draws power and data from a single port. Cable length is fixed by the attached lead, so the distance between the PC and the typing position cannot exceed that length. No wireless or Bluetooth option exists, and the unit does not support pass-through ports for other peripherals.

Plug-and-Play Install with FN Lighting Control

Windows and macOS recognise the keyboard without extra drivers; lighting modes are switched through FN plus function keys for nine preset effects. The blue switches produce a loud click that may disturb shared spaces. Full anti-ghosting allows simultaneous key presses, but users unfamiliar with mechanical feel can find the actuation force heavier than membrane boards.

Questions about this item

Which version of this keyboard should I pick if I want the full 104-key layout with blue switches?

This model is only offered as a 104-key full-size board with blue mechanical switches, so there is no alternative layout or switch option to choose from.

What does the 50-million keystroke rating mean for daily use?

The ABS keycaps are tested to survive 50 million presses per key, which translates to years of heavy typing or gaming before any switch shows wear.

What does the gold-plated USB interface actually limit in practice?

The gold-plated USB connector ensures reliable data transfer and durability, but the keyboard remains a standard wired USB device with no extra bandwidth or protocol features.
