Personal alarm for emergencies

The Werleo VII Series personal alarm produces a 130dB alert to draw attention in an emergency. A leaf-shaped metal body houses the sounder and a multi-colour LED. Two CR2025 button cells power the device. It is intended for elderly people, children, students and women who may need to signal for help quickly.

Sound output and LED modes

At one metre the alarm reaches 92dB in front of the unit, while close-range testing shows 125dB or more. The top switch cycles through five LED patterns including steady red, green, blue, colour rotation and colour flash. A memory chip recalls the last colour chosen if the switch is pressed again within three seconds.

Switch functions and missing strap

Holding the side switch for three seconds activates alarm sound 1 with a flashing red LED. The supplier notes that no strap is included with the alarm. Battery replacement or depletion restores the LED to its default setting.

Questions about this item

How do I activate the alarm and what is the common mistake?

Press the side switch for three seconds to start alarm sound one with a flashing red LED; the mistake is pressing for less than three seconds, which will not trigger the alarm.

What battery replacement will this need and how many?

It runs on two CR2025 button cells; replace both when the alarm volume drops or the LED modes stop cycling.

What limits the alarm duration during continuous use?

The two CR2025 cells set the practical runtime; sustained 125 dB output will drain them faster than intermittent use.
