SKU CH-YAHY-GPAQ1

A 20 TB, 7200 RPM SATA 3.5-inch internal hard drive for desktop storage

  • 20 TB capacity stores massive datasets
  • 7200 RPM rotation speed enables fast sequential access
  • SATA III interface fits standard server backplanes
  • 5 inch form factor suits rackmount chassis
  • DC HC560 series built for data-centre workloads

Capacity and form factor

The Western Digital DC HC560 is a 20 TB 3.5 in internal hard drive built for desktop and server storage arrays. It spins at 7200 RPM and connects through a SATA III interface. The drive targets users who need high-capacity bulk storage in a standard drive bay.

Packaging and compatibility

The unit ships as a bare drive; retail or OEM packing may vary and no cables, mounting hardware or software utilities are included. Buyers must supply their own SATA data and power cables as well as any required drive trays or brackets. This keeps the package focused on the storage medium itself.

Ideal use cases and limits

The drive suits archival workloads, media libraries and backup repositories that benefit from large sequential capacity. It is not intended for boot-drive duties or applications demanding low-latency random access. Buyers who need faster response times or a smaller physical footprint should consider alternative storage types.
