4-Pack 120 mm Fan Filter Covers

This set includes four black plastic filter covers sized at 120 mm to fit standard case fans. They are designed for desktop PCs, gaming rigs and servers that need basic dust protection. The mesh construction blocks debris while letting air pass through the fan. Buyers who need magnetic mounting or finer micron ratings should look elsewhere.

Practical Limits of Passive Mesh Filtration

The fine mesh reduces the amount of dust that reaches internal components, but it also adds a small resistance to airflow. Over time the mesh will clog and must be removed for cleaning to maintain cooling performance. The filters have no active cleaning mechanism and no sealing gasket, so very fine particles can still enter around the edges.

Capacity and Headroom for Dust Protection

Four covers protect a typical front or top fan array in a mid-tower chassis. The plastic frames are lightweight at 0.19 kg for the set and measure 14.33 in W x 12.83 in H x 9.06 in D when packaged. They handle ordinary household dust and pet hair, but they are not rated for industrial particulate or liquid ingress.

Questions about this item

How many filters come in the pack and what size fans do they fit?

The pack contains four filters sized at 120 mm (4.72 inch) square, matching standard PC case fan mounts.

Will the mesh design restrict airflow in a gaming rig or server?

The fine mesh is engineered to maximise airflow while trapping dust, so cooling performance stays high in desktops, gaming rigs and servers.

Are the frames plastic or metal, and how durable are they?

The frames are made of durable plastic, not metal, and are built to withstand wear for long-term dust filtration.
