Headrest Compatibility Range

This USB car cooling fan attaches to headrest posts spaced between 4.6 and 6.2 inches. Measure the gap before buying because the strap mount will not secure properly outside that window. Drivers and rear passengers who fit the spacing get directed airflow without permanent installation.

Power and Airflow Limits

The unit must stay plugged into a USB source supplying at least 5V/2A and has no internal battery, so it stops when the port loses power. Three speed settings and a turbo mode move air through dual outlets that can be switched forward or backward with side buttons. Vents tilt up to 40 degrees to aim the stream at the driver, a child seat or a pet.

Build and Daily Use

The housing uses acrylonitrile butadiene styrene with a black art-deco finish and measures 5.35 by 5.25 by 1.65 inches. A Z-shaped profile wraps the posts for a firm grip, while an LED indicator shows the active speed. Wired operation removes battery overheating risk in hot cabins and avoids recharging downtime.

Questions about this item

Which headrest post spacing does the Westinghouse USB car cooling fan fit?

The fan fits headrest posts spaced from 4.6 to 6.2 inches. Measure your posts before ordering to confirm compatibility.

What does the 40° adjustable vent angle do once the fan is installed?

The 40° adjustable vents let you direct airflow up or down so cooled air reaches the driver, rear passengers or a pet without repositioning the whole unit.

How does the USB power requirement limit where the fan can be used?

The fan needs a constant 5V/2A USB source, so it must stay plugged into a vehicle port or compatible power bank; it has no internal battery for cordless operation.
