Carpet Puller for Flooring Removal

The Westward 13A745 is a hand-operated carpet puller built for lifting and removing fitted floor coverings. Its aluminium body keeps the tool light at 1.6 units while the serrated clamps grip the material firmly. Professional installers and DIY renovators use it to speed up demolition work on residential and commercial sites.

Serrated Clamps and Aluminium Frame

The clamp face measures 4 in by 1 3/8 in, providing a wide bite that reduces slippage on heavy or glued-down carpet. The serrated surface digs into fibres without tearing the backing unnecessarily. Aluminium construction resists corrosion and cuts user fatigue during extended pull sessions across large rooms.

Suited for Carpet Tear-Out Jobs

This tool suits flooring contractors and property managers who regularly remove broadloom or tile carpet. It is not designed for prying hardwood, lifting ceramic tile or extracting glued vinyl sheet goods. Buyers needing a multi-material demo bar or a powered stretcher should look at a different product class.

Questions about this item

Will the serrated aluminium clamps need periodic replacement?

The serrated clamps are integral to the aluminium body and are not designed as a replaceable wear item.

What limits continuous pulling force during a large room installation?

The 1.6 kg aluminium frame and 4 in clamp face length set the practical leverage limit before the tool flexes.

Does the tool generate heat or noise when used all day?

As a purely mechanical hand tool it produces no heat or noise beyond the operator's own effort.
