Concrete Apprentice Tool Kit

The Westward 13A756 kit supplies seven masonry tools for apprentices learning concrete finishing. It includes a wood float, magnesium float, cement trowel, margin trowel, stainless edger, stainless groover and a tool bag. The set covers the basic hand tools needed for placing, smoothing and detailing fresh concrete on residential or light commercial jobs.

Seven-piece capacity for core finishing tasks

The 12 in wood float and 16 in magnesium float handle initial bull floating and surface levelling across typical slab widths. The 16 in cement trowel and 5 in margin trowel manage final smoothing and tight-edge work, while the 6 in stainless edger and groover cut clean joints and rounded edges. The kit runs short when larger ride-on equipment or specialised decorative stamps are required.

Hand-tool thermals and effort

As manual tools, they generate no motor heat, electrical draw or operating noise beyond the user's own effort. Stainless blades resist corrosion during repeated wet-concrete contact, and the wood and magnesium floats absorb minimal heat from curing slabs.
