An 11-inch London-pattern trowel forged from high-carbon steel with a 6-inch ErgoSoft ergonomic handle for brick, concrete and masonry work
This London-pattern trowel is built for laying brick, block and stone. The 11-inch high-carbon steel blade resists wear on abrasive mortar mixes. An ErgoSoft handle with a 6-inch grip reduces hand fatigue during long courses. It ships new and ready for site work.
The wide 4-3/4-inch London blade carries heavy loads of stiff mortar for brick and block walls. It is not suited for thin-set veneer work or smooth finishing coats where a narrower Philadelphia or pointing trowel would give better control. Buyers who need a notched adhesive spreader should choose a different tool.
The 11-inch blade length sets how much mortar you can pick up and how far you can butter a course without repositioning. If your joints or unit size call for a shorter or longer blade, this model will not match the work.

Check that the high carbon steel blade shows no chips or bending along the 11 in edge and that the ErgoSoft handle remains firmly attached during spreading.
The box contains the London trowel with its 11 in carbon steel blade and 6 in ErgoSoft handle; you supply mortar, brick or concrete and personal protective equipment.
The 13P514 model with an 11 in blade and 4-3/4 in width is the narrow London pattern suited to standard brick and block laying.
