Westward 18 mm Snap-Off Utility Knife

The Westward 1CNZ1 is a hand tool built for everyday slicing jobs. Its 18 mm snap-off blade lets you refresh the edge without tools, and a built-in blade lock holds the segment firmly while you work. The adjustable handle angle gives a comfortable grip for repetitive cuts on tape, cord, wall covering and similar soft materials.

Ideal for packaging, light trade work

This knife suits anyone who needs a quick blade change and a secure lock during repeated scoring. Users who require a fixed-blade design, a larger blade width for heavy sheet goods, or a tool rated for industrial abrasion resistance should look elsewhere.

18 mm snap-off blade with tool-free segment removal

The single specification that decides fit is the 18 mm snap-off blade combined with a tool-free segment snap and blade lock. If your task demands that exact blade width and instant edge renewal, this model matches; if you need a different width or a fixed blade, it does not.

Questions about this item

How long does the 18 mm snap-off blade last before it dulls on heavy daily cutting?

The 18 mm blade is designed for soft materials such as string, tape and wall covering; heavy daily use on tougher substrates will dull it faster, so keep spare segments on hand for quick snap-off changes.

Does the knife get hot or vibrate enough to cause fatigue during all-day use?

The tool has no motor or powered components, so it produces no heat or vibration; fatigue would come only from repetitive hand motion, not from the knife itself.

What else do I need to start cutting right away?

The knife ships with the 18 mm blade installed and a built-in blade lock; no additional tools or accessories are required for immediate use.
