Offset aviation snip with steel blades cuts leftward curves in sheet metal
The Westward 1UG15 is a left-cutting offset aviation snip built for sheet-metal work in automotive, HVAC and general fabrication. Its steel blades handle straight and tight curved cuts where a straight snip cannot reach. The tool is intended for trade professionals and serious DIY users who need a reliable hand cutter for light-gauge metal.
The single specification that decides fit is the left-cutting offset blade geometry. The offset jaw keeps the user's hand above the workpiece while the left-cut orientation curves the waste to the left during a cut. A right-cut or straight snip will not follow the same line, so match the tool to the cut direction required by the job.
No assembly or adjustment is needed; the snip works straight from the box. The compound leverage reduces hand effort, but the cutting length is limited to 1 1/4 in per stroke, so long cuts need repeated bites. California Proposition 65 warnings apply because the steel contains listed chemicals; wear gloves and wash hands after use.

It gives a 1 1/4 in straight cut per squeeze, so you reposition less often on long panels.
The offset blades push material down and away, keeping your hand clear of sharp edges while you follow a left curve.
The snip measures 9 3/4 in end to end, so allow at least that much depth in your pouch or drawer.
