Strips, cuts and crimps 8–22 AWG wire with an adjustable mechanism and cushion grip
The Westward 1YNA5 wire stripper handles wire gauges from 8 to 22 AWG in a single 8 1/2 in tool. It combines stripping, cutting and crimping functions for electrical and automotive work. The adjustable manual mechanism lets you set the strip length for consistent results. A cushion-grip molded handle resists slipping when hands are wet or oily.
The tool includes a box-style crimp for 7 to 8 mm terminals and an anvil-style wire cutter built into the jaws. Both features are integrated so you do not need separate crimpers or side cutters for typical wiring tasks. This reduces the number of tools carried on a job. The design keeps each function aligned for repeatable crimps and clean cuts.
This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Buyers who require materials certified free of listed substances should select an alternative. The restriction does not affect the mechanical performance of the stripper.

The hardened steel blades are built for repeated stripping and cutting; they stay sharp through normal daily work and do not require routine sharpening.
Hand fatigue from the repetitive squeezing motion is the practical limit; the mechanism itself does not overheat or bind during extended sessions.
It is a fully manual tool with no motor or battery, so it generates no heat and consumes no electricity regardless of how long you work.
