PVC pipe cutter ratchet action

This Westward hand tool uses a ratcheting shear to cut tubing from 1/16 in up to 2 7/16 in. It handles PEX, polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC and PVDF materials. The 11 in length gives leverage for clean cuts in plumbing and irrigation work.

Ratchet shear cutting limits

The mechanism advances the blade incrementally so each squeeze deepens the cut without crushing the tube wall. Maximum capacity stops at 2 7/16 in, so larger diameter pipe needs a different cutter. The auto reverse design returns the blade automatically when the cut is complete.

Aluminium alloy body steel blade
