A 36-inch alloy-steel wrecking bar with gooseneck profile for prying and nail pulling
The Westward 3FE89 is a gooseneck pry bar made from alloy steel for demolition and nail-pulling tasks. Its 36 in. length and 3/4 in. diameter provide leverage for heavy prying. The black finish improves visibility in low-light work areas. A tether point allows attachment to a belt loop or bag strap for carry and storage.
Users move up to this bar when a standard claw hammer or short pry bar lacks the reach or leverage for large framing members, deck boards or concrete formwork. The gooseneck shape adds clearance for pulling deep-set nails. The upgrade is worth it when demolition volume justifies a dedicated wrecking tool rather than a multi-purpose hammer.
Leverage depends entirely on the operator's strength and the fulcrum placement available on site. The fixed 36 in. length cannot be extended for tighter spaces or longer reach. The bar has one curved end and one chisel end, so it cannot drive fasteners or spread two surfaces simultaneously. California Proposition 65 warnings apply to chemicals in the product.

The bar is 36 in long overall and 3/4 in wide, so allow at least that length of clear swing space plus room for your grip and the gooseneck offset.
Drive the claw fully under the nail head with a hammer blow, keep the bar aligned with the nail shank, then apply steady leverage instead of jerking.
Retire it if the claw shows cracking, the gooseneck bend has widened, or the shaft exhibits permanent deformation after prying loads.
