Versatile Cutting Tool

The Westward 4YP37 is a multi-purpose shear designed for general cutting tasks. Its 7 1/2 inch overall length and 1 5/8 inch cut capacity suit a range of materials. The partially serrated stainless steel blade provides grip on slippery surfaces. A blue ergonomic polypropylene handle offers comfort during extended use.

Upgrade From Basic Snips

This shear replaces basic snips or household scissors when a stronger, locking blade is required. The safety latch secures the blade during storage or transport. The jump is worth it for users who need a dedicated right-hand tool with a straight cutting action. It handles multipurpose applications where adjustable jaw snips are unnecessary.

Check Your Requirements

Verify that a right-hand orientation matches your workflow before ordering. The fixed straight cutting edge does not suit curved or intricate patterns. Confirm the 1 5/8 inch cut length meets the thickness of your intended materials. Note the Proposition 65 warning regarding chemical exposure.
