Product Identity

This Westward 54PP96 socket extension adds 10 inches of reach for 1/4 inch drive tools. It suits mechanics and technicians who need access to deep or recessed fasteners in automotive and general maintenance work.

Critical Specification

The extension accepts a 1/4 inch square drive and meets ASME B107.110 dimensional standards. It will not fit 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch drive sockets, so verify your ratchet and socket drive size before purchase.

Installation Reality

The chrome finish resists corrosion and slides onto the drive square without binding under normal use. Over-torquing a long extension can twist the shaft or round the fastener, so apply steady force and avoid impact drivers unless the tool is rated for them.
