3/8" Drive Crowfoot Wrench
The Westward 54PR35 is a 3/8 inch drive crowfoot socket wrench with a 7/16 inch SAE open-end head. It is built from alloy steel with a chrome finish for corrosion resistance. This hand tool suits mechanics and technicians who need to reach fasteners in tight or obstructed spaces where a standard socket cannot fit.
Replaces Standard Deep Sockets
Use this crowfoot when a regular socket or box-end wrench cannot engage the fastener due to limited clearance. The open-end head slides onto the bolt from the side, making it worth the switch for hydraulic lines, flare nuts or confined engine bays. It does not suit high-torque applications that require a fully enclosed drive.
Open-End Interface Limits
The open-end design contacts only two flats of the fastener, so rounding risk rises under heavy load. It lacks a locking mechanism, so the head can slip off if the wrench is not held square. The tool is not insulated, non-magnetic or non-sparking, limiting its use in electrical, magnetic-sensitive or explosive environments.

Questions about this item
Will the 3/8 in drive and 57/64 in width clear my ratchet in tight spots?
The open-end head measures 57/64 in wide with a 1 3/8 in overall length, so it fits standard 3/8 in drive ratchets and reaches into confined areas.
Do I just snap it onto my 3/8 in ratchet or is a special adapter needed?
It connects directly to any 3/8 in square drive; the common mistake is forcing it onto a 1/2 in drive without an adapter.
How often should I check the chrome finish for wear on the 7/16 in opening?
Inspect the chrome plating periodically; if the 7/16 in opening shows rounding or flaking, replace the wrench to maintain grip on fasteners.
