Junior Hacksaw for Precise Cuts

The Westward 5WFW6 Junior Saw is a compact hand tool designed for detailed cutting tasks. Its 10 in overall length and 6 in blade suit tradespeople and DIY users who need control in tight spaces. The 32 TPI spring steel blade delivers fine cuts in metal and plastic materials.

Built-In Blade Tensioning Device

A built-in tensioning mechanism locks automatically when the correct blade tension is reached. This feature removes guesswork during blade changes and keeps the 32 TPI blade rigid for accurate, repeatable cuts. The spring steel blade resists bending during use.

California Proposition 65 Compliance

This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Buyers who require materials without Proposition 65 listings should select an alternative tool. The restriction applies to the product as supplied.

Questions about this item

When will the 6 in 32 TPI blade need replacing?

Replace the spring-steel blade when the 32 teeth per inch become dull or the blade no longer holds tension in the built-in device.

What limits continuous cutting with the 10 in frame?

Hand fatigue from the 8.2 weight and the fixed 6 in blade length limit how long you can saw without a break.

Does the saw get hot or noisy during all-day use?

No motor means no heat or noise; only the operator’s effort and the blade’s friction against the workpiece generate warmth.
