M5-0.8 hand tap set for metric threads

This three-piece Westward hand tap set cuts M5-0.8 metric coarse threads using high-speed steel. It is intended for mechanics and machinists who need to create or repair internal threads in a workshop or maintenance environment.

Bright finish and D4 limit suit general-purpose

The uncoated bright surface works well in a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. A D4 thread limit provides standard fit tolerances, while the four-flute design helps evacuate chips during hand operation.

Right-hand cutting with 7/8 inch thread length

Each tap measures 2 3/8 inches overall with a 7/8 inch thread length, allowing reach into blind holes. Right-hand thread direction matches the most common fastener orientation for everyday assembly tasks.
