This hybrid sealant comes in a 10 oz cartridge and is designed for multipurpose applications. It suits professionals and DIY users who need a flexible, paintable seal for indoor or outdoor projects. The clear finish blends with surrounding surfaces without altering their appearance. It is not for buyers who need a specific colour match or a non-paintable formula.

Upgrading from Basic Caulks

Unlike basic latex or silicone-only caulks, this hybrid base combines paintability with waterproof, mildew-resistant and mould-resistant performance. It also remains nonshrinking and ultraviolet resistant across a wide temperature range. The jump is worth it when a single sealant must handle movement, weather exposure and a painted finish without cracking. It does not replace specialised fire-rated or high-temperature sealants beyond 180 degrees F.

Behaviour Under Sustained Exposure

Once applied, the sealant provides a working time of 20 minutes before skinning over. Full cure is reached in 4 days, after which the joint stays flexible from -40 degrees F up to 180 degrees F. Under continuous weather cycling, UV exposure and moisture, it maintains adhesion without shrinking or degrading. It is not suited for joints that require immediate structural load-bearing before the cure period ends.
