34 Quart Dual-Zone Portable Fridge

The Whynter FMC-350XP is a 34 quart compressor refrigerator and freezer built for mobile use. It runs on 115 volt AC or 12/24 volt DC power, making it suitable for RVs, boats, trucks and off-grid sites. A USB outlet provides device charging while the unit cools between 8°F and 50°F.

Replaces Thermoelectric Coolers

This unit replaces passive coolers that only chill below ambient temperature. The compressor system reaches true freezer temperatures down to -8°F using Fast Freeze mode. The upgrade is worth it when food safety, frozen storage or multi-day trips require reliable sub-zero performance without ice.

Freestanding Install With Dual Cords

Installation consists of placing the freestanding cabinet and connecting the included 8 foot AC cord or 10 foot DC cord to a suitable outlet. The flush-back design fits tight against a wall. Common issues include insufficient battery capacity for sustained DC draw and inadequate ventilation around the compressor housing.

Questions about this item

How much clearance does the 14.00-inch wide, 25.00-inch deep unit need against a wall?

The flush-back design lets it sit cleanly against a wall; allow a few inches at the sides and top for compressor airflow.

What is the step people skip when switching between the 8-foot AC cord and the 10-foot DC cord?

Unplug the first cord completely before inserting the other, then set the temperature on the LED display for the desired mode.

When should the R134A refrigerant system be checked on a 70 W compressor unit?

Only if cooling performance drops; the sealed system is maintenance-free unless a leak develops, then a certified technician must recharge it.
