This new spiral flute tap cuts UNC threads at size #10-24 with three flutes for efficient chip evacuation. It is made from high-speed steel with a black oxide finish and suits right-hand threading tasks in general workshop or maintenance work.

Thread capacity and headroom

The tap produces a class 3B fit using an H3 thread limit and a 75 percent thread drill size #25 for proper engagement. Its thread length reaches one-half inch within an overall length of two and three-eighths inches, limiting use to through or shallow blind holes.
