This Widia Gtd spiral flute tap cuts M3.5 by 0.6 metric threads in a right-hand direction. It is made from high speed steel with a black oxide finish and has two flutes. The thread limit is D4 for a 6H class of fit. It suits machinists and maintenance technicians who need to produce internal threads in through or blind holes.

Build integration with 50.8 mm length

The tap measures 50.8 mm overall with a 9.7 mm thread length and requires a 2.90 mm drill for 75 percent thread engagement. Its bottoming chamfer allows threading close to the bottom of a blind hole.
