Wiegmann HS446 72-Inch Wireway

The Wiegmann HS446 is a straight-section wireway designed for indoor cable management and conduit routing. It provides a 72-inch enclosed pathway to organise and protect electrical conductors in commercial or industrial settings.

Suited for indoor trunking with screw-secured cover

This unit suits installers who need a hinged, screw-locked cover for easy access during pulls or maintenance. It is not for outdoor use, wet locations, or applications requiring a higher NEMA enclosure rating.

CSA Certified and UL Listed 16-gauge steel

The single specification that decides fit is the NEMA 1 rating combined with CSA and UL listings on 16-gauge powder-coated steel, confirming it meets code for general-purpose indoor wiring.

Questions about this item

Does the 72 in straight wireway ship with its hinged screw-lock cover included, or must the cover be ordered separately?

The cover is part of the assembly; the hinged screw-lock cover ships attached to the 72 in gray steel section.

Should I select the 4 in by 4 in cross-section or a different size for a 72 in run?

This listing is the 4 in wide by 4 in high profile; choose it when your fill calculations match that cross-section.

What does the NEMA 1 rating on this 72 in section mean for indoor installation?

NEMA 1 rates the enclosure for indoor use against falling dirt and light contact, not for water or oil exposure.
