Indoor electrical installations needing basic

It is not designed for outdoor exposure, wet locations, or environments requiring protection against dust, oil, or water ingress. Buyers needing higher environmental ratings should consider alternative enclosures.

NEMA 1 rating defines the installation environment

The NEMA 1 rating confirms this wireway is intended solely for indoor use to provide a degree of protection against contact with enclosed equipment. This single specification determines whether the product matches the safety and environmental requirements of the project. Verify the rating against local codes before installation.

Questions about this item

What does the 72 in length mean for a continuous run?

The section provides a straight six‑foot run; multiple sections can be joined end‑to‑end for longer cable pathways.

How does the NEMA 1 rating limit where this wireway can be installed?

NEMA 1 suits dry, indoor locations only; it does not protect against water, oil or outdoor exposure.

What mounting clearance does the 4 in by 4 in profile require?

Allow at least a four‑inch square opening plus screw‑cover access space on the mounting surface.
