12-inch Galvanised Steel Enclosure

This Wiegmann RSC101206GNK enclosure measures 12 inches high, 10 inches wide and 6 inches deep. It is built from 16-gauge galvanised steel with a silver finish and carries NEMA 3R, CSA, cULus and UL listings. The solid screw-on cover features a padlockable hasp handle for secure access. It suits installers needing a wall-mounted, weather-resistant box for wiring or controls.

Wall Mounting with Included Hardware

The enclosure ships with mounting screws for direct wall installation. Usable opening depth is 5.88 inches, so verify that internal components and wiring bend radii fit within this space before mounting. The screw-on cover requires alignment of all fasteners to maintain the NEMA 3R seal; over-tightening can distort the 16-gauge flange and compromise the gasket. Ensure the mounting surface is flat to avoid stress on the box.

10-Inch Width and 16-Gauge Construction

The 10-inch width and 16-gauge steel thickness determine whether this enclosure fits your panel layout and mechanical protection needs. Buyers requiring a wider body, deeper usable space or a different cover style will need an alternative model. The padlockable hasp is the only closure method provided; applications demanding quarter-turn latches or keyed locks are not served by this unit.
