90 Degree Sweep Elbow for 4x4 Wireway

The Wiegmann SL040490 is a 90 degree sweep elbow designed for 4 in x 4 in wireway systems. It connects horizontal and vertical runs in NEMA Type 1 indoor installations. The steel body has a gray powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance. A screw-on cover with screw clamps secures the interior wiring.

Suits installers using HS or S Series wireways

This elbow fits HS Series and S Series wireways that share the 4 in x 4 in cross-section. It is not for outdoor or wash-down environments needing NEMA 4 or 4X ratings. Builders requiring knockouts for cable entry must choose a different fitting. The fixed 90 degree angle cannot be adjusted for custom routing.

Simple screw-on cover speeds installation

The cover mounts on the top or bottom with screw clamps so no special tools are required. The 16 ga steel is rigid enough to hold alignment while fasteners are tightened. The main error is ordering the wrong series; verify the wireway series before purchasing. The 9.41 in length must match the layout drawing.
