Wireway Tee for 6x6 Systems

The Wiegmann T0606 wireway tee joins sections of 6 in by 6 in wireway in a T configuration. It carries a NEMA Type 1 rating for indoor protection against falling dirt. The steel body uses a gray powder-coated finish and includes a hinged, screw-clamp cover.

Sustained Indoor Performance

The 16 ga steel construction resists deformation during continuous cable pulls and supports the weight of filled raceways. Powder coating maintains corrosion resistance in dry indoor environments over long service periods. UL and CSA listings confirm compliance for permanent installation.

Upgrade from Open Junction Boxes

This tee replaces improvised junction boxes when routing HS or S series wireways through intersections. The jump is worth it when a listed, knockouts-free fitting is required to maintain enclosure integrity. It is not suited for outdoor or wash-down locations needing NEMA 4 or 4X ratings.

Questions about this item

Does the 16 ga steel tee generate heat or noise when cables run through it continuously?

The tee is a passive steel fitting with no moving parts, so it produces no heat or noise regardless of how long cables remain installed.

Which wireway series must I already have for this 6 in × 6 in tee to connect properly?

It is designed for use with HS Series and S Series wireways that share the same 6 in width and height.

Will the hinged screw-clamp cover on this tee align with older HS Series straight sections I am keeping?

Yes, the cover location and screw-clamp locking style match the HS Series design, so the tee fits existing runs without modification.
