7-Piece Torx T-Handle Set T9-T30

This Wiha Tools 36492 set provides seven Torx keys ranging from T9 to T30. Each key uses chrome vanadium molybdenum steel with a chrome-plated finish for corrosion resistance. The T-shaped handles deliver higher torque than traditional L-keys while the plastic grips improve comfort and control in wet or oily conditions.

Technicians needing high-torque Torx drive

Mechanics and maintenance professionals who regularly drive Torx fasteners in confined spaces will benefit from the T-handle leverage. Users who primarily work with hex, Phillips or slotted heads, or who require insulated drivers for electrical work, should select a different set configured for those profiles.

Verify fastener sizes and workspace clearance

Confirm that the T9 through T30 range matches the Torx screws encountered on the job. Ensure the T-handle length fits within the available access space around each fastener. The product carries California Proposition 65 warnings for cancer and reproductive-harm chemicals.

Questions about this item

What Torx fasteners can I drive with the seven keys in set 36492?

The set covers Torx sizes T9 through T30, giving you the range needed for most common Torx-head screws in automotive and general maintenance tasks.

Can the T-handle keys replace my old L-shaped Torx keys on the same fasteners?

Yes, each key fits the same Torx profiles; the T-shaped handle simply provides more leverage and comfort, especially in tight or wet conditions.

How do I verify each key is made from the specified chrome vanadium molybdenum steel with chrome finish?

Look for the chrome-plated surface and Wiha branding on every handle; the material and finish are applied to all seven keys in the set.
