12 ft extension with 12 V socket and USB

This 12-foot heavy-duty 18-gauge cord adds a 12-volt socket and a USB charging port to a PDA or handheld PC setup. The USB port glows blue when power is flowing, giving a quick visual check. A quick-release mounting bracket is included for semi-permanent placement on a vehicle dashboard or work surface. It suits mobile workers who need to keep a legacy handheld device charged while on the move.

Plug-in power with quick-release bracket

Installation is a simple plug into any standard 12-volt accessory outlet, then snap the bracket into place where the cord will not interfere with controls. The 18-gauge wire is sized for low-draw devices, so it is not suited for high-current equipment or inverters. Users should verify that their handheld’s power requirements stay within the cord’s modest capacity to avoid voltage drop or blown fuses. The fixed 12-foot length may be excessive for compact cabs, creating unwanted slack.
