Wilton 1800S-12 12 in F-Clamp

The Wilton 1800S-12 is a regular duty bar clamp built for welding, metalworking, woodworking and plumbing tasks. It features a 1 x 15/32 inch extruded steel bar with a replaceable V-groove pad and an adjustable handle for versatile clamping.

Sustained clamping on 1 in rails

The clamp operates on rails measuring 1 inch wide and uses a hex head swivel mechanism to maintain pressure during extended jobs. Its steel construction resists deformation when tightening across metal, wood or pipe assemblies over long periods.

Simple setup with replaceable pad

Installation requires positioning the jaw on the rail and turning the handle to engage the swivel. The V-groove pad can be swapped out when worn, preventing damage to workpieces and avoiding the need to replace the entire clamp.

Questions about this item

How much force is needed to tighten the 12 in F-Clamp during long welding sessions?

The adjustable handle lets you apply pressure by hand, and the hex head swivel turns with a standard wrench for extra leverage when the job runs all day.

What rail size must the workshop already have for the 1800S-12 to mount properly?

The clamp fits rails measuring 1 in. wide, so any bench or fixture with that profile will accept it directly.

Will the replaceable V-groove pad on the 15/32" bar damage softer wood or pipe surfaces I keep using?

The V-groove grips round and flat stock securely, and because the pad is replaceable you can swap it for a softer insert to protect delicate pieces.
