Red covers 22-16 AWG with 30 pieces, blue covers 16-14 AWG with 50 pieces, and yellow covers 12-10 AWG with 20 pieces. All terminals fit a #10 stud and use tin-plated copper for conductivity.

Heat-shrink sealing limits

Each connector includes a 3:1 polyolefin sleeve lined with hot-melt adhesive that seals when heated, but the seal relies on correct temperature and dwell time. The translucent sleeve allows visual inspection of the crimp, yet it cannot compensate for an undersized crimp tool or damaged conductor strands. Continuous immersion or flexing at the wire exit may eventually breach the seal.
