Transmission filter kit

The Wix Filters 58135 Auto Trans Filter Kit is a new transmission filter kit designed for automotive transmission maintenance. It provides the necessary filtration components for service intervals on compatible vehicles. The kit suits DIY owners and professional technicians performing scheduled fluid and filter changes.

Simple bolt-on installation

Installation follows standard transmission service procedure: drain fluid, remove the pan, swap the filter and gasket, then refill to specification. Common issues include overtightening pan bolts, which can warp the flange, and reusing the old gasket, which often leads to leaks after the first heat cycle.

Steady filtration under load

Under sustained driving the filter media maintains consistent flow while trapping wear particles that accumulate during extended operation. It resists the pressure spikes that occur during prolonged high-temperature running, preventing bypass valve activation that would otherwise circulate unfiltered fluid. The kit supports reliable operation through repeated duty cycles.
