Wohler 4240 Camera Head Guidance Kit

The Wohler 4240 is a plastic guidance kit designed to safely centre and guide a camera head through pipes and vents. It includes a camera head, roller guide, centring star and protection sleeve for inspection tasks. The waterproof construction ensures reliable operation in wet environments. This kit connects via a screw-type connector.

Suitable for pipe inspection professionals

This kit suits technicians who need to navigate camera heads through pipe networks using compatible Wohler reels. It is not for buyers who require a reel or push rod, as those are not included. Users with non-screw-type connector systems cannot attach this kit. It also does not fit camera models outside the specified manufacturer numbers.

Screw-type connector compatibility

The kit uses a screw-type connector and is made for manufacturer numbers 6352, 8927 and 8931. This single interface detail decides whether the part fits your existing reel and camera head. Verify your equipment model before ordering. No other connection method is supported.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Wohler 4240 guidance kit and what step is commonly missed?

Screw the connector onto the compatible camera head, then attach the roller guide and centering star before sliding the protection sleeve over the assembly; users often forget the sleeve.

What maintenance or replacement will the plastic tubing and rollers need later?

Inspect the HAWA plastic tubing for cracks or abrasion after each job; replace the roller guide or centering star if they no longer rotate freely or show visible wear.

What limit appears first when the kit is used continuously in long pipe runs?

The 8-inch overall length of the guidance head restricts how far it can travel through tight bends before the push rod binds against the pipe wall.
