Blue transparent keycaps for MX keyboards

This 115-key set uses blue polycarbonate with a starry sky pattern to enhance RGB shine-through on mechanical keyboards. It covers 60%, 65%, 75%, 80% and 100% layouts including 61, 64, 68, 84, 87, 96, 98, 100, 104 and 108 key counts. Buyers who need legends on every key or prefer opaque keycaps should look elsewhere.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

Keycaps add no heat, noise or power draw to the system because they are passive plastic components. The .281 kilogram weight does not affect keyboard thermals or acoustics. There is no active cooling or electrical load to consider.

What the bundle changes

The package includes nine extra modifier keys alongside the 104 standard keys to support ANSI US and UK layouts across multiple form factors. Cherry profile shaping provides a familiar typing angle for gaming or office work. No software, stabilisers or tools are included.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 115 keycaps onto my MX-switch keyboard without damaging the stems?

Align each keycap stem with the MX-style switch cross, press straight down until it seats firmly, and avoid twisting — the polycarbonate stems can crack if forced at an angle.

Will the starry sky shine-through pattern on these blue transparent PC keycaps fade or yellow over time?

Polycarbonate resists yellowing better than ABS, but prolonged UV exposure can still cause gradual discolouration; keep the board away from direct sunlight to preserve the effect.

At what point does the 0.281 kg keycap set start to feel slippery during long typing sessions?

Skin oils build up on the smooth PC surface after several hours, reducing grip; wiping the keycaps with a microfibre cloth restores the original texture.
