Low-Profile Shine-Through Keycaps

This 144-key PBT set is moulded at half the height of standard caps so it fits both traditional and low-profile switches. The shine-through legends let RGB backlighting show through the grey and white colour scheme. Double-shot moulding keeps the legends from wearing off after heavy daily use. The kit covers 61, 65, 68, 75, 82, 84, 87, 96, 100, 104 and 108-key layouts.

Typing Feel And Acoustics

The reduced profile shortens the travel distance, giving a snappy bottom-out that many typists find quicker for long sessions. PBT material resists shine and keeps a dry, textured surface even after months of gaming or office work. Because the caps sit lower, the overall keyboard height drops, which can reduce wrist extension on flat desks. No stabiliser rattle is introduced beyond what the switches already produce.

Upgrade Path And Fit

The set replaces any full-size or compact keycap kit that uses cross-stem MX-compatible switches. It is not suited for boards with non-standard bottom rows, optical stems or proprietary low-profile stems that lack a cross-shaped stem. Buyers who need dedicated macro keys, ISO-enter coverage or ortholinear 1u modifiers beyond the included 144 caps will find the kit incomplete. A key puller is bundled for easy swap-out.

Questions about this item

How do I install these 144 keycaps on my Cherry MX or Gateron switch keyboard, and what step do people often miss?

Pull off the old caps with the included key puller, align each new cap's cross-shaped stem, and press straight down; the step many miss is checking every stabilised key — space, shift, enter, backspace — for even seating so they don't rattle.

What maintenance will these double-shot PBT keycaps need over time?

They resist shine and wear, so routine care is limited to occasional removal for dusting with compressed air or a soft brush; no coating re-application or replacement schedule is required.

What is the first limitation I'll hit during long typing or gaming sessions with these low-profile caps?

The reduced height shortens key travel compared to standard-profile sets, so finger-bottom-out feedback arrives sooner, which can feel abrupt during extended high-speed input.
