Adult Life Vest for 90lbs+

The WOW Watersports Vis-Wave is a USCG Type III flotation aid built for adults weighing 90lbs and up. Unisex blue nylon shell with polyester flotation delivers inherently buoyant performance for kayaking, paddleboarding, jet skiing and general water recreation. Adjustable straps and quick-release buckles provide a secure, customizable fit across a wide range of chest sizes.

Buoyancy and Mobility Limits

Inherently buoyant polyester flotation keeps the wearer afloat in rough conditions without inflation mechanisms to maintain. Soft inner lining and wide armholes allow unrestricted movement for active paddling or boarding. The vest runs out of headroom for users below the 90lb threshold, where a different Type III device sized for youth would be required.

Build Integration and Fit

Designed to layer over swimwear or light rash guards with no external hoses, CO2 cylinders or oral inflation tubes to snag on gear. Reinforced seams and strong stitching withstand repeated sun and salt exposure. Quick-release buckles enable fast donning and doffing on a moving dock or boat, freeing up time for the activity rather than equipment fuss.

Questions about this item

Will the vest fit over a thicker wetsuit I already own?

Adjustable straps and quick-release buckles let you expand the fit to layer over a wetsuit while keeping the vest secure.

How can I confirm the buoyancy is still reliable after a season of use?

Check that the inherently buoyant polyester foam feels firm, the nylon shell shows no tears, and all buckles latch cleanly.

Does the package include a whistle or storage bag, or must I buy them separately?

The vest ships as the flotation aid only; a whistle, storage bag, and any other accessories are sold separately.
