Plug the HDMI source into the single input and connect the supplied USB 3.0 cable to a compatible port; the device appears in OBS, Potplayer or VLC without extra drivers on Windows 7, 8, 10, macOS 10.9 or later and Linux. Pass-through HDMI lets a monitor stay connected, but the capture resolution is fixed at 1080p so 4K recordings are not possible.
