What this cable delivers

The WRIARICH PQ004 is a USB4 Gen 3x2 cable with USB C male connectors on both ends. It supports 40Gbps data transfer, 240W power delivery at 48V/5A, and 8K video at 60Hz. The braided jacket adds durability for daily connection between laptops, docks, storage and displays.

Check your ports before ordering

Your host and peripheral must both have USB C ports that support the features you need. For 8K or dual 4K video the source port must implement DisplayPort Alternate Mode. For 240W charging both the charger and the device must negotiate PD 3.1. Thunderbolt 3 and 4 hosts work, but USB-C 3.2, 3.1 or 2.0 ports will fall back to their native speeds.

How it fits into a setup

At 1.6FT the cable suits desk-length runs between a laptop and a dock or monitor. It replaces separate charge and video cables when the dock or display accepts USB C video and power. Backward compatibility means older USB-C gear still connects, just at lower throughput. No active electronics are required beyond the cable itself.

Questions about this item

Does the box contain anything besides the 1.6FT USB C to USB C cable?

The package includes only the USB4 cable itself; no adapters, power bricks or video dongles are supplied.

When should I choose the 40Gbps 240W version over a lower-spec cable?

Choose this model when you need 8K@60Hz or dual 4K@60Hz display output, 40Gbps data throughput, or up to 240W (48V/5A) charging from a PD 3.1 source.

Will I actually see 40Gbps transfer speeds and 240W charging on my laptop?

You will reach 40Gbps only with USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4 hosts and storage that support that bandwidth, and 240W charging requires a PD 3.1 charger and a device that accepts 48V/5A.
