What this cable does

The WRIARICH USB4 cable is a 1.5FT USB C to USB C lead rated for 240W power delivery and 40Gbps data transfer. It suits users who need a single cable to charge high-power laptops, drive 8K displays at 60Hz and move large files between Thunderbolt 4 or USB 3.2 devices.

Build integration

The male-to-male, bi-directional connectors plug directly into any USB-C port on a host, dock, external SSD or eGPU enclosure without adapters. It replaces separate charging and video leads, freeing ports on compact laptops and reducing cable count on a desk setup.

Sustained-load behaviour

The cable maintains its 40Gbps throughput and 240W (48V/5A) delivery during extended transfers or charging sessions, provided both ends support the same USB4 Gen 3x2 specification. Performance will fall back to the lowest common standard if either device only supports Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.1.

Questions about this item

Will the 40 Gbps data rate hold steady during a long file transfer or does it throttle?

The cable is built to the USB4 Gen 3x2 specification, so it maintains the full 40 Gbps link as long as both host and device support that speed.

Does the cable get hot or draw extra power when running 240 W charging all day?

It is rated for 48 V at 5 A, so the conductors handle continuous 240 W delivery without overheating under normal ambient conditions.

My laptop only has a USB 3.2 port — will this cable still charge at 240 W?

Power Delivery 3.1 negotiates the highest voltage and current both ends support, so a USB 3.2 port will charge at its own maximum, not at 240 W.
