Push Button Latch 1-1/2 Inch Aluminium

This Wright Products V398 latch provides a push-button closure for doors and panels. The aluminium construction offers corrosion resistance for indoor or outdoor use. It suits automotive compartments, toolboxes, and utility enclosures. Builders needing a simple, non-locking catch will find it functional.

Suits surface-mount installs needing 1-1/2 in reach

Installers wanting a flush-mount or mortised mechanism should look elsewhere. Projects requiring a keyed cylinder or electronic release need different hardware. Buyers who want a longer throw or adjustable strike must choose another model. This unit fits standard cut-outs for this specific latch type.

Critical spec is 1-1/2 inch aluminium body

The 1-1/2 inch dimension determines whether the latch reaches the striker plate correctly. Aluminium material decides if the finish matches surrounding trim or resists the operating environment. Verify this measurement against your panel thickness and frame gap before ordering. No other specification overrides this fit requirement.
