EDC Flashlight for Daily Carry

The WUBEN G5-HS is a compact rechargeable flashlight built for everyday carry. It delivers up to 400 lumens from a dual LED source and throws light 82 metres. At 52.3g and 0.59 by 1.47 by 2.44 inches, it slips into a pocket or clips to a key chain. The aluminium body is rated IP65 for water resistance.

Sustained Output and Runtime

On a full charge the light runs for 65 hours, supporting extended use without frequent recharging. The main white LED offers three fixed levels plus stepless dimming, while the auxiliary RGB module cycles through seven colours. A sliding pulley switch changes modes, and double-click shortcuts activate beacon or warning flashes. The rotating head and clip let you aim the beam hands-free.

Type-C Charging and Environmental Limits

The integrated lithium-polymer cell recharges via a USB Type-C port, removing the need for disposable batteries. IP65 certification means the housing resists dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It is not rated for immersion, so submersion should be avoided. The one-touch lock prevents accidental activation during transport.

Questions about this item

How long does the 400-lumen output last before the battery needs recharging?

The flashlight runs for 65 hours on a full charge, though the highest 400-lumen mode will reduce that runtime.

Does the Type-C port mean I can charge it from any USB-C power source I already own?

Yes, the built-in Type-C port accepts standard USB-C chargers, power banks or laptop ports.

Will the rotating clip and IP65 rating hold up on a keychain that sees daily pocket carry?

The rotating clip secures to pockets or bags and the IP65 rating protects against dust and water jets during everyday use.
