Five Hot-Swap Bays and Three 5.25-Inch Slots

Five front-accessible 3.5-inch bays accept SAS or SATA drives at up to 12 Gbit/s using a tray-free, screw-less mechanism with an anti-theft lock on each carrier. Hot-swap capability lets administrators replace failed disks without powering down the system. Three 5.25-inch bays remain available for optical drives, tape units or front-panel accessories.
