180° Rotating Sensor Light Meter

The WUQ TS-710 is a digital light meter built for measuring visible light from LEDs, fluorescent tubes, metal halide, high-pressure sodium and incandescent sources. Its probe rotates 180 degrees so readings can be taken from multiple angles without repositioning the main unit. The 2.25-inch backlit LCD remains legible in dim surroundings. A soft carry case and three AAA batteries are included.

Measurement Range and Accuracy Limits

The meter covers 0.1 to 200,000 lux and 0.1 to 20,000 foot-candles with a stated accuracy of ±(3% reading + 5 digits). Readings outside this span cannot be captured. The device also logs ambient temperature and humidity, though the temperature sensor requires time to stabilise when moved to a new environment. Auto power-off activates after 10 minutes of inactivity.

Lux Range Decides Suitability

The 0.1 to 200,000 lux span is the single figure that determines whether this meter fits the task. It handles indoor lighting checks, plant grow-light verification and automotive headlamp diagnosis within the listed bands. Applications demanding sensitivity below 0.1 lux or intensity above 200,000 lux fall outside its capability.
