Diagnostic Scope

The WUQ VD700 is a full-systems diagnostic scanner built for Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and Seat vehicles. It reads and clears fault codes across ABS, SAS, SRS, ESP, TPMS, transmission, immobiliser, engine and battery systems. It also performs OBD II engine diagnostics on 12 V petrol or diesel cars and light trucks from 1996 onward.

Compatibility Check

Verify that the target vehicle uses a 16-pin OBD II port and supports one of the standard protocols such as J1850 VPW, J1850 PWM, ISO 9141, KWP 2000 or CAN. For non-VAG models the tool is limited to engine-system diagnosis only. The host computer for updates must run Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11.

Build Integration

The unit connects directly to the vehicle's diagnostic socket and draws power from it, so no separate supply is required. A 2.8 inch colour screen shows live data and menus in 11 languages. Lifetime free software updates are downloaded from the maker's website and installed via the on-screen wizard, keeping the scanner current for newer vehicle parameters.
